Because sprinkler repairs are much smaller in size than typical projects, the service call helps cover our costs of running a professional repair company. The service call covers the drive time to your property, having a fully stocked vehicle ready to fix the problem right away, and for our highly experienced technicians’ time. Free estimates are for our Fence, Sod, and Sprinkler Installations that do not require troubleshooting and repair. Service calls or hourly minimums are typical with professional sprinkler repair companies.
Once repairs reach a total of $750, the $95 is applied toward the work. Any repairs below $750 will be $95 plus the repairs.
After 30 minutes, our technicians switch to an hourly rate for diagnosis. We try to avoid doing this if possible because we’ve found that customers are more comfortable with line-item pricing rather than hourly.
Broken sprayheads and rotors, drip repairs, pipe / leak fixes, wiring issues, controller problems, valve location, valve replacement, low pressure, high pressure, backflow issues (doublecheck, PVB, etc), coverage inefficiencies, and more.
Usually within 2 days or sometimes the day you call. During peaks it can be over 1 week.
Depending on the repair, the warranty is usually 30 days. Manufacturer warranties can be for multiple years depending on which component is installed.
It’s best to start with a diagnostic. Oftentimes you’ll be better off getting a new system. However, we have successfully repaired many old systems (some over 30 years old) and the repairs ended up being still less than half of what a new system would have been.
